Who was Rani Kamalapati?

The name of India’s most hi-tech railway station built in Bhopal has become Rani Kamalapati Railway Station, earlier its name was Habibganj Railway Station. Today this railway station beats any international airport. But we will not talk about the grandeur of the station but its divinity, and the divinity is in the name of this railway station. When people heard the news of Bhopal station being named after Queen Kamalapati, leave the rest of India, let Madhya Pradesh go, even the citizens of Bhopal wondered who was this queen Kamalapati? Bhopal has been settled by the Nawabs, if they heard the name of any Hindu king in Bhopal, they heard about Raja Bhoj, then where did this queen Kamalapati come from? And who is Queen Kamalapati, if this question has arisen in your mind after the transfer of the station, then understand that the results of the conspiracy of the last one century have been partly on your mind as well. They wanted to cut us from our roots and whatever they say they have succeeded to some extent. Well, Rani Kamalapati can also be called Padmavati of Madhya Pradesh. Just as Padmavati had committed Jauhar to protect her honor, Queen Kamalapati also took a samadhi. In the sixteenth century, the entire Bhopal region was ruled by Hindu Gond kings. Kamalapati was the wife of the Gond king Nizamshah. The state was governed from Ginnorgarh near Bhopal. Then came the fascination for the throne. Alamshah, the nephew of King Nizam shah, who ruled the Bari, thought of usurping Ginnaurgarh. If he could not fight, then he did a lousy act, called Nizamshah for food, mixed poison in the food and took the king to the hereafter. The queen came to Bhopal from Ginnaurgarh with her son to protect her son Nawal shah. There was a palace of the queen near the small pond of Bhopal. The queen talked to Mohammad Khan, who had come from Afghanistan, to teach a lesson to her husband’s killer Alamshah, Mohammad Khan agreed to work for one lakh rupees and he put Alamshah to death. But due to lack of complete arrangement of money with the queen at that time, the queen gave a part of Bhopal to Mohammad Khan. But after some time the selfish and treacherous attitude of Mohammad Khan also grew to the fore. His intention was to capture the whole of Bhopal and even worse, he had ill-eyes on the queen as well. Eventually there was a war between the queen’s Chiranjeev Nawal shah and Mohammad Khan, the war was very terrible. So much so that the valley on which the war took place turned red with blood, even today in Bhopal it is called Lal Ghati. Nawalshah was also sacrificed along with other soldiers for the honor of Rani Mata. In the end only two people remained, they let out smoke from Lal Ghati, the queen sitting in the palace understood its meaning. He ordered his private servants to divert the canal of the pond towards his palace. The queen with all her splendor sat down in the lowest floor of the palace and took a water-samadhi to protect her modesty. Instead of Jal-Samadhi, it can also be called Jal-Jauhar. Just as innumerable women along with Rani Padmini had dedicated themselves to fire to protect their honor, so did Queen Kamalapati to protect her honor. Even today five storeys of the queen’s palace are submerged in water, only two storeys are out of water, But hi bad luck! Who told the children about the chastity and courage of the queen, we came to visit the pond and took pictures and left. Why, how, when, who built this palace, never wanted to know. The girls take selfie with the pond, with the palace, put the story with the hashtag naturelover, but do not want to know the history of that mother India’s son Rani. The history of so many such Kamalapati is shrouded in darkness just like that palace. Now the light has started falling on him and the world has started getting illuminated by him. Otherwise, there were not more than six great men in the country, it seemed, in every city, in every village, there used to be institutes and crossroads of his own name. But now the world class railway station is being named after our local great men, it is really time to inaugurate the truth. But we all have to bring these names in our practice, otherwise even today many people call Prayagraj as Allahabad, Narmadapuram to Hoshangabad and Deendayal railway station to Mughal Sarai station. Now the governments are doing their part, but we all also have to do our part by bringing these words in our daily practice, only then the stigma of the invaders will be completely erased. And truth, like the sun, will illuminate the world.
